Lidocaine Pharmaceutical Multicomponent Forms: A Story about the Role of Chloride Ions on Their Stability

In this investigation, three new crystal forms of lidocaine, and another lidocaine hydrochloride with hydroquinone, resorcinol, pyrogallol were synthetised. All the characterised using multiple techniques, PXRD, SC-XRD, DSC, FTIR. The stability was studied, and, for more stable forms, i.e., (lidhcl) solubility determined through FTIR analysis. crystalline obtained coformers showed an interesting steric stabilisation mechanism oxidation hydroxybenzenes good physicochemical properties respect to (lidhcl), constituting a modulation properties.
